Epsilon 9

Here we go with a collab I did with Danny Gordon (nwdagroup.com). He's had this Unreal rendered plate lying around for a while and decided to allow me to give it some post work treatment. Now I liked the plate and immediately saw a very atmospheric and dusty world. It also gave me the chance to try out Blender to get atmosphere and some more storytelling into a 2d plate. Lots of Photoshop went into it as well of course. All in all it worked out pretty good and we got a nice scene that allows various ways of reading it. But here is ours:

a failed colony lies in ruins—smoldering, silent… deadly. Among jagged spires and the burning carcass of alien machines, one lone explorer fights to survive.
