Endeavours - Recognition

"And when I thought "This place really feels like a haunted house!" the room I just entered started to become alive. Perhaps my biosignature triggered some long time waiting scanner device. Disrupting the silence of an Eon long sleep. Another low frequency buzzing noise... accellerating. Up until now this whole space emanated a sense of patience and purpose. Dare I to ask what purpose it fulfills? I'm not so sure anymore. What's happening?!"

This 24th part of the series I actually did relatively late in the creative process with much of the series already done. Not necessarily doing all these in order mind you. You can imagine the chaos with the numbering once the series is done. Chaos. This piece also sparked ideas for two additional scenes (scene 22 and 23). Throwing chapter numbers around even more. However... I didn't do any of these scenes in Vue and opted for Blender. Again learning a lot during the process. Goal for this was to really go in for a closeup. Finally seeing our protagonist face to face. Another challenge was it to make her expression a mix of being curious wonderment but also cautious. Since I'm not too experienced with these things on such a close up level I had to tweak a lot until I was happy with it. The helmet material was a lot of fun to play with too.
