Foundation

Directly from the vault, created in 2012, I must have missed uploading it. =) Plate rendered in Vue and heavily reworked and overpainted via Photoshop. I have just read Asimov's Foundation at the time and got inspired of course. The front ship was modeled by Sebastien Hue (https://www.artstation.com/sebastienhue), after a rough concept I painted earlier. So it was basically training for both of us. I wanted to keep the look a little more rough than usual and aimed for a more painterly look. At least in some areas. =)
